Live Monsters In New York
March 1st, 2004

On March 1st, Dave had a special screening of his "Live Monsters" DVD in 30 Regal theaters in the United States. If you were at the New York theater in Union Square, you actually got to see Dave in person.

This video features highlights from the night:
> Dave's greeting, from the "posh green room" (including Depeche Mode news). The item Dave is pointing to on the floor is some leftover trash.
> One of the celebrities at the event.
> Dave surprising the fans at the New York premiere.
> Some quick photo-op moments.
> Dave signing autographs at the Virgin Megastore.

David's Depeche quote, in case you can not make it out, is as follows:
"I'm writing right now. I know Martin is writing as well. Hopefully we'll get together later in the year, to talk about what we're gonna do next. Hopefully that will be a Depeche thing. We'll have to wait and see what happens, so we'll keep you posted."

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" - Soundcheck
September 3rd, 2003

Dave performed on an outdoor stage for the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on August 20th, 2003. This meant that anyone standing on the street outside of the parking lot behind the El Capitan theatre got a special treat, and got to watch the soundcheck! If you were not one of those lucky people, we have three clips of the soundcheck for you to check out now.

CLIP 1
Dave comments on the fancy set and video screens. Then, an excerpt of the "Dirty Sticky Floors" rehearsal.
CLIP 2
We start off with the filming of the bumper (those little "still ahead", or "coming up next" clips that appear before the musical guest appears - usually with a commercial in between). Then, with a stagehand taking the place of Jimmy Kimmel (and mis-pronouncing Dave's last name), we get another rehearsal (technically two) of "Dirty Sticky Floors" (with the crowd on the street cheering loudly).
CLIP 3
For the final clip, we start off with the lighting crew teasing one of the security guards. After that, a rehearsal for one of the songs performed, but not broadcast ("Bitter Apple").
